Taqueria Paloma was founded by Gerardo, a longtime Crystal Lake resident with a lifelong passion for cooking. For over 30 years, Gerardo has called this community home raising his family, working hard, and dreaming of one day sharing his love of food with others.

That dream became a reality when he opened his food truck, bringing authentic, homemade flavors to the streets of Crystal Lake. Every dish is a reflection of his heritage, heart, and dedication to quality.

When he's not behind the grill, you’ll likely find Gerardo gardening, Church, fishing, or spending time with his family. He’s deeply grateful for the support he's received from the community and is excited for the journey ahead.
